Direkt efter sin akademiska utbildning började Ulf arbeta inom ett globalt industriföretag som business controller och blev rekryterad inom bolaget to två av kontoren i Europa. I början av 2000-talet flyttade han tillbaka to Sverige och ledde i rollen som controllerchef ett stort förändringsarbete för ett internationellt bolag med miljardomsättning. Resultatet blev att Ulf därefter tillsattes som CFO, ett uppdrag som gav honom internationell arbetsvana. För fyra år sedan övergick Ulf to att bli interim consultant och har haft uppdrag som CFO i medelstora och stora företag inom IT-, bygg, livsmedels- och anläggningsbranschen.
