Interim Search has been commissioned to apply a SVP of Infrastructure to a global fast expanding on-demand production company, with 130 production partners in 30 countries.
As the VP of Infrastructure, you will play a pivotal role in building the future of production-on-demand for a global network of creators and production partners. You will be responsible for building and maintaining a global, scalable, performant and resilient cloud infrastructure architecture within the company. You will manage a global team of managers and technical leaders and provide them with strategic direction, empower them, and drive hard for results.
The Responsibilities
- Lead strategy and development of a cloud-based platform to ensure scalability, reliability, and performance for global operations.
- Manage and develop a team of platform and infrastructure engineers promoting innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align infrastructure development with business objectives, enhancing global production and delivery capabilities.
- Maintain high system availability, performance, and security, manage infrastructure budgets and vendor relationships.
- Implement best practices in infrastructure management, including disaster recovery, data integrity, and security. Be a strong stakeholder in the incident management process.
- Automate infrastructure processes and maintain operations through provisioning, configuration management, monitoring, and lifecycle management.
- Be a strong advocate for new & emerging technologies, AI, industry trends, and best practices.
Who you are
- Proven experience as a technology leader in a similar capacity, ideally as a VP of Engineering or Director of Engineering, with a successful track record of delivering complex projects and driving innovation
- Possess a deep understanding of cloud services, data center operations, and the latest in infrastructure technologies.
- A strategic thinker with a proven track record of developing and executing infrastructure strategies that support large-scale, global operations.
- Domain expertise across the Infrastructure environment (network, storage, databases, cloud etc.)
- Excellent communication skills, naturally capable of bridging the gap between technical and non-technical stakeholders.
