Office Depot is one of the world's largest suppliers of office supplies. Office Depot not only offers all kinds of office supplies, but also furniture, promotional products, printing solutions, coffee machines and much more.

Sales in Sweden are made via sales force, stores, webshop and customer center. The company has a turnover of just over SEK 1 billion and has around 300 employees. 

Interim Search has been commissioned to appoint a results-driven Supply Chain Manager specializing in logistics to Office Depot's head office in Solna. In this role you will work in a team of six people and report to the CFO.

Main tasks:

  • Managing and implementing a new transport project.
  • Ensure optimal flow of goods from own warehouse to end customer.
  • Ensure cost-effective and sustainable logistics for customers in all channels and segments.
  • With a strong customer focus and internal collaboration, find and continuously develop new, more efficient and sustainable logistics solutions.
  • Contribute in a structured international cooperation with the group's logistics functions.
  • Align the work with OD's overall business plan, policies and processes, and manage according to established KPIs.


Who we are looking for:

  • Has experience in project management.
  • Has experience from a significant position in logistics.
  • Experience in analytical work related to logistics/warehouse optimization.
  • Has experience in cross-functional collaboration in large companies.
  • Has worked with FMCG.
  • With a degree from a university or college, preferably with a specialization in logistics, industrial economics or similar work experience.
  • Experience in transport logistics.


You have special and deep expertise in:

  • Transforming analysis and expertise into initiatives for the strategic development of the logistics function.
  • Self-motivated. Takes responsibility for his/her task, structures his/her approach and drives his/her processes forward.
  • Correct spoken and written Swedish.
  • Good spoken and written English.
  • Good knowledge of MS Excel.


About the Process:

We present candidates on an ongoing basis and interviews will be held at the client company on April 6 and 9. The assignment lasts for six months.
