Interim senior economist and project manager in financial control
Interim Search has been entrusted with the appointment of an experienced and driving senior economist and project manager in financial control for a business-critical assignment. Our client is a major player in real estate-related activities in Stockholm, which is currently in the final phase of a major financial control project.
As an interim consultant, you will step into a key role to ensure a qualitative conclusion of an ongoing development project. The assignment is a combination of qualified controlling, accounting and strategic process development. You are expected to both manage the ongoing financial work and proactively drive the implementation of new working methods and structures within the organization.
Main tasks:
- Finalization and anchoring of ongoing financial management projects.
- Qualified controlling, budget and forecasting work and financial monitoring.
- Analysis of financial performance and support to the business on complex financial issues.
- Development, streamlining and implementation of new financial processes.
- Ensure a sustainable handover of the developed ways of working to the line organization.
To be eligible for the role:
We are looking for a confident financial consultant with strong execution skills and experience of working independently in complex environments. You have a strong business acumen and thrive in roles that require both operational delivery and development focus.
- Experience: At least 3-4 years of relevant experience in controlling, accounting and financial management.
- Project experience: Proven experience in driving and implementing new ways of working, preferably in the context of change or financial management projects.
- Systems: Very good system skills (ERP/BI) and expert knowledge of Excel.
- Merit: Experience from the real estate industry, knowledge of real estate VAT and experience of working in Agresso (Unit4).
- Characteristics: You need to take initiative, be proactive and analytical. You are an unpretentious team player who can prioritize when the stakes are high and who takes full responsibility for driving your tasks to completion.
