Interim Search has been commissioned to immediately appoint an Interim Section Manager for a public organization in Stockholm. The assignment as Section Manager includes operational, budget and personnel responsibility and you report to the Head of Department. The assignment includes 100 % working hours throughout the contract period with the possibility of remote up to 40%.

As Interim Head of Section, you will lead and distribute the work based on the principle of active employeeship, where you promote and make room for employees' skills and abilities. The department is in a critical phase of building up a new business and it is of the utmost importance that you can quickly familiarize yourself with a new business and can provide good conditions for employees to work. Several important projects will need to be decided and resourced during the period of the assignment, which also requires experience in project ownership.

Main duties:

Operational, budgetary and personnel responsibilities.
Participate in building structures and setting procedures related to employees' work environment.
Supporting newly recruited staff in their new roles.

We are looking for someone who has:

Previous experience of working in the public sector.
At least 5 years of documented experience in management and leadership positions with good results.
An academic degree or other equivalent education relevant to the assignment.
Proven experience of several years in continuous improvement and standard setting at managerial level.
Knowledge and experience of working with and developing analysis and evaluation methods.
Good ability to interact, communicate and clarify the Agency's mission in order to build good relations within the Agency and with other key stakeholders.

The assignment will start immediately from mid-April and is expected to last until 2023-07-31. The assignment is full-time based in Solna with the possibility to work remotely up to 40%.

We will present candidates on Thursday, April 6 at 15.00. Final candidates should be available for interview with the client on Tuesday April 11 or Wednesday April 12. The opportunity to conduct an interview digitally will be available.
