Interim Search has been entrusted with the appointment of a Quality and Environmental Manager for a manufacturing company in the food industry.
As Quality and Environment Manager, you will be part of the company's management team where you will have a key role in driving and ultimately responsible for quality and environmental issues. You will lead a team of 5 employees.
Main responsibilities:
- Act and be responsible for ensuring compliance with food and environmental standards (FSSC 22000, ISO 14001, KRAV and EU organic).
- Design and implement sustainability plans to reduce environmental impact.
- Oversee internal and external audits and work on quality and environmental improvement initiatives.
- Interact with the entire production team to optimize workflows and ensure production without deviations.
- Responsible for the management and development of the Quality and Environment team, many of whom are new recruits.
To be eligible for the role:
- Relevant university degree in food environment, biotechnology or equivalent field.
- At least 5 years of documented work experience in quality and environmental issues in the food industry.
- In-depth knowledge of applicable standards and legislation in the field.
- Practical experience in change management and strategic work.
- Strong leadership skills and experience in building and developing teams.
- Ability to identify solutions through analytical thinking and to communicate them in a clear and concise manner.
About the process:
The assignment is full-time and is expected to last for 6 months starting immediately. There is a strong possibility that the assignment can turn into a permanent position, as the client is actively looking for a permanent solution.
Candidates will be presented to the client by December 6 and client interviews will be held the following Monday.
