Interim Search has been entrusted to appoint an interim Production Manager to a manufacturing industry located in Hälsingland. The assignment includes personnel responsibility and you report to the Production Manager.
The purpose of the assignment is to manage and coordinate the operation of the factory during shifts so that production takes place in the best possible way in terms of quality, quantity, environment, energy and economy.
Main duties:
- Personnel and development officer for directly subordinate staff.
- Responsibility for the recruitment, induction and training of new staff.
- Responsible for stopping the plant for scheduled maintenance and cleanings in cooperation with the Operations Manager.
- Ensure that the company's overall objectives and strategies are embedded within the shift team.
- Report and work on suggestions for improvement regarding safety, production, quality, environment, energy and cost reporting systems.
- Responsible for the compilation of agreed operational reports and the management of deviations.
- The work involves shift work.
To be eligible for the role:
- High school engineer, YTH or equivalent.
- Several years of experience working in the pulp and paper industry.
- Good knowledge of the different parts of the sulphate process.
- Communicating in Swedish in speech and writing is a requirement.
About the process:
The assignment is full time on site at the client company. Start immediately and the assignment is expected to last for approximately 9-12 months.
