Interim Search has been assigned to place an interim Procurement Specialist with HR & Travel for an international company listed on Nasdaq OMX. In this role you will report directly to the Global Sourcing Manager.
In the role as interim Procurement Specialist HR & Travel your main responsibilities and tasks will be:
- Category management and development
- Strategic sourcing
- Drive transformation and implement new ways of working
- Negotiate contracts that secure terms and conditions
- Acquire and maintain understanding of sourcing processes, market trends/forces, cost trends, vendor base and supplier road maps
- Participate in the development of strategies that will ensure a robust, competitively priced supply chain with the best supply partners at a competitive cost level
- Negotiate contracts, schedule flexibility and liability terms
- Answers requests for information from internal and external clients
- Manage purchasing projects from issuing RFx’s to concluded agreements and coordinating the negotiation team
- Manage commercial and legal aspects in agreements and upcoming issues that need solutions and settlements
- Provide feedback on supplier performance
- Initiate and drive action plans for improvement together with the business and the supplier
- Drive continuous improvement in daily operations
