Interim Search has been tasked with appointing an interim IT operations manager for a public sector organization located within commuting distance of central Stockholm. As IT operations manager for the organization's IT operations, you will be responsible for operations in the areas of servers/storage, networks & communications, workstations, monitoring, and application operations.
The IT Operations Manager for the Technology Center reports to the Head of IT Infrastructure, and there are two additional sections within the IT Infrastructure unit. You will lead the day-to-day work and have personnel responsibility for 16 employees + 5-8 consultants divided into five teams. The role includes budget and operational responsibility, where you will be responsible for forecasting and following up on the section's budget.
To be eligible for the assignment, you must have recent experience in similar roles. You must have at least five years' experience of IT infrastructure and several years' experience of managing teams. The assignment is full-time, starting on January 9, 2017, and is expected to last until April 17, 2017. If you are available and interested, please apply as soon as possible.
