Interim Search has been commissioned to appoint an international HSE manager (Health, Safety, Environment) for a large construction project in an international industrial group. The assignment involves international placement in Southern Europe, or Central Asia.
The position involves working on large projects, with major subcontractors, and writing and implementing plans and specifications. You will act as a link between project owners, subcontractors and company management.
The main responsibilities are:
- Contribute to improving health, safety and environment to ensure a health and safety culture
- Supporting the business through the application of advanced HSE knowledge and facilitating effective risk management
- Preventing and reporting HSE incidents
- Report progress on sustainability targets and other performance indicators
- Support (as expert) incident investigations and perform root cause analysis in the field
- Conduct training courses when necessary
To be considered for the position, you should have at least 10-15 years of experience in HSE work in industry / electricity / construction / or other similar industry. You should have a relevant academic degree, be fluent in Swedish and English (other languages are meritorious) and certified knowledge of ISO 9001. Good knowledge of ISO 45001 is also necessary. A must-have requirement is to have completed a certified HSE training.
The assignment is 12-36 months - the length of the contract will be decided in consultation with the selected candidate. The start of the assignment is in January 2019. If you are interested and available, please apply as soon as possible.
