Interim Occupational Health and Safety Specialist

Main duties:

• You will lead the work and help prepare for occupational health and safety inspections.
• You will participate in and be committed to driving issues through the occupational safety group that exists in the organization, primarily consisting of employees from operations.
• The organization has previously created a list of priority processes, where you will lead implementations of them.
• You will be responsible for risk assessments and following guidelines from the Swedish Work Environment Authority.
• You will be responsible for following up on occupational accidents and incidents, monitoring statistics and disseminating knowledge by, among other things, providing related training.
• You will be responsible for improving the statistical tool - linked to the CSRD.
• You will be expected to proactively dive into potential problems and challenges and support strategic initiatives with your curiosity and insights.

To be eligible for the role:

• Relevant training in occupational health and safety.
• At least 2-3 years of experience in occupational health and safety issues with preference from restaurant, hotel, retail or retail.
• You have a structured approach to work by planning and prioritizing effectively to meet the organization's health and safety objectives.
• To fit into the team, you are optimistic, curious, adaptable and thrive on being the hub through all the interfaces in the organization.
• You are never really satisfied, but you constantly strive to drive health and safety issues and its continuous improvement at every opportunity.
• Fluent in Swedish and English, both spoken and written.

About the process:

The assignment is expected to start the first week of January 2025 and last approximately 6 months, with a scope of 50%. We will present candidates on a rolling basis with interviews at the client company on November 27.
