Interim Head of Operations

We are looking for an Interim Works Manager with experience in managing various tasks on a project construction site, including overseeing and being responsible for the contractual dealings with addenda (changes, additions, deductions, obstacles). We are looking for you with combined experience in running projects under contract law and operational management of installation staff. The Head of Works reports to the CEO.

Main duties:

• Manage and coordinate the day-to-day activities of the project in relation to the signed construction contract
• Operationally supervise installation teams of 30 people in construction projects, including engineers
• Responsible for planning and executing construction projects according to established timeframes and budget
• Monitor and control costs and material usage to ensure that the project stays within budget
• Prepare regular reports as required by the construction contract on the progress, budget, schedule and quality status of the project for superiors and other stakeholders

To be eligible for the role:

• Experience in a similar role (site manager, project manager, etc.) in the construction industry or related industries
• Previous responsibility on construction with about 15-30 people in installation teams including engineers
• A combination of technical skills, leadership skills and the ability to manage multiple project aspects simultaneously
• Technical skills and construction law experience from the construction industry as well as a good understanding of construction processes from the subcontractor role are essential to successfully perform this role
• Academic training in building construction or similar engineering training

About the process:

The assignment is expected to start by mid-August and will last for 6 months. The assignment takes place on site in southern Stockholm 5 days a week. We will present candidates on an ongoing basis and interviews with the customer will take place during week 33.
