Interim Global Sourcing Manager Logistics (job ID: 519)

As interim Global Sourcing Manager, you will be responsible for driving transformation and implementing best practices. The role is strategic, and you will be expected to execute and drive initiatives in accordance with specific category strategies. Logistics procurement is divided into three main areas: Warehousing, Transportation, and After-Sales. In this role, you will report operationally to the Group Procurement Director for Services and functionally to the Logistics Category Manager.

As interim Global Sourcing Manager Logistics, you will:

• act operatively and drive RFx's
• negotiate and set up deals with suppliers in order to deliver business results and savings
• execute in line with our common category management methods
• initiate cross-functional/border project teams
• be involved in change management and way of working projects
• drive the category forward and work towards “top line” results
• drive the procurement work within the logistics category
• act as a champion and train the organization in best practices and how to work professionally with category-specific sourcing and sourcing in general

In order to be a successful applicant, you must have experience as a Procurement Manager with knowledge in the logistics area and, more specifically, within warehousing and transportation.
