Interim Search has been commissioned to appoint an Interim COO for a market leader in their niche. Our client is in strong growth, driven by quality products, and a very stable and well-known brand. As Interim COO you are overall responsible for Purchasing, Production, Warehouse, Logistics and Quality, and report to the CEO.
Main duties:
- Coach and guide staff in strategic and operational sourcing of raw materials and components.
- Ensure effective production planning to meet demand and reduce lead times.
- Optimize the capacity of internal and external production units and monitor production quality and cost efficiency.
- Oversee, evaluate and develop the logistics chain, including transportation solutions and delivery accuracy.
- Managing, evaluating and developing an efficient and structured inventory of raw materials and finished goods.
- Lead and develop the team in operational functions such as purchasing, production, quality and logistics.
- Work closely with sales, product development and finance.
To be eligible for the role:
- Plus 10 years of experience in management positions in small and medium-sized manufacturing companies.
- Post-secondary degree.
- Solid knowledge in areas such as purchasing, logistics, production planning and supply chains.
- Experience working with ERP.
- Fluent English, both spoken and written.
- A background in the textile industry is an advantage.
- Strong leadership and ability to engage and develop teams.
About the process:
