Interim Search has been commissioned to appoint an interim Operational Construction Buyer to a billion-dollar company in Stockholm. In this role you will work with the procurement and negotiation of subcontractors, mainly in land construction, civil engineering, excavation and excavation work, as well as technical contracts.
Main duties:
- Lead contract negotiations and procurements with a focus on total cost, quality and environment.
- Responsible for the pre-qualification process, including assessment of financial and delivery capacity and legal requirements (collective agreements, confidentiality agreements, etc.).
- Contribute to the development of a strategic and long-term supplier base.
- Ensure that the procurement process templates and documents are updated and followed.
- Actively prepare and follow up on major projects in close cooperation with local project managers and team leaders.
To be eligible for the role, you have:
- At least 5 years' experience in plant operations, with a particular focus on purchasing and production.
- Proven experience in drafting tender documents, works contracts and agreements.
- Experience in building long-term and sustainable business relationships with suppliers.
- Experience working in the TendSign procurement system is required.
