Interim Chief Financial Officer

Main duties:

• Responsible for price management, financial statements and payroll management and ensure that reporting and follow-up are carried out according to plan.
• Drive the work on inventory management and contribute to improvements in business processes and procedures.
• Producing statistics, analyzing key figures and supporting management with decision support for financial strategies.
• Responsible for the day-to-day bookkeeping and accounting.
• Prepare monthly and annual accounts.
• Develop and improve accounting and reporting procedures.

Requirements for the role:

• Experience working as a financial manager or accountant in a small or medium-sized company.
• Good knowledge of the Visma Net financial system and used to working with stock and payroll management.
• In-depth understanding of financial analysis and reporting as well as analyzing financial statements, identifying trends and creating recommendations.
• Experience in budgeting and forecasting with an ability to prepare, analyze and monitor budgets.
• Ability to work under time pressure and manage deadlines as well as a stress-resistant and structured approach to ensure accurate and timely financial statements and reporting.
• Strategic and business thinking with an ability to see the role of the finance function from a broader perspective and provide insights that support the company's business strategy and long-term goals.
• Good understanding of business management and cost control and an ability to work on cost monitoring and control, identifying deviations and initiating actions to keep the business within budget.

About the process:

The assignment is full-time and is expected to last for 6 months starting November 1st. There is a possibility that the assignment can turn into a permanent position as the client is actively looking for a permanent solution.

Candidates are presented to client on 18/10 and client interviews are held thereafter.
