Interim Search has been commissioned to appoint an interim Operations Manager for a construction company operating in the civil engineering sector.
Main duties:
- Responsibility for a number of site managers, who in turn are project managers
- Initiate new projects and conduct negotiations with customers
- Ensure project profitability and ensure that established budgets and plans are implemented
- Ensure the right skills and resources to successfully implement projects
- Create a strategy and action plan to achieve set goals
- Market and tender monitoring responsibility
- Responsibility for the work environment and personnel responsibility for site managers
We are looking for someone who has:
- Experience in the role of Works Manager/Regional Manager/Business Area Manager or equivalent within the land and construction industry
- Background in initiating projects and negotiating with private construction companies or public sector organizations
- Good knowledge of construction law and project economics
