Interim Senior Accountant
Interim Search has been entrusted with the task of recruiting an Interim Senior Accountant for a fast-growing company in Stockholm.
As an Interim Senior Accountant, you will play a key role in an international corporate group. You will work closely with a close-knit team and be responsible for the entire accounting process—from day-to-day transaction processing and reconciliations to financial statements and the annual report for the group’s Swedish parent company.
Main duties:
- Be responsible for monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements; prepare the annual report for the Group’s Swedish parent company; and provide support with the accounting for international subsidiaries.
- Manage day-to-day transactions, reconciliations, and financial flows
- Be responsible for VAT, taxes, and day-to-day currency management.
- Bring new energy, structure, and efficiency to day-to-day accounting work.
To be eligible for the role:
- Independent in preparing financial statements, with documented experience in independently preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and annual reports.
- Experience with reporting in accordance with the K3 regulations.
- Experience in transaction-intensive environments, growth companies, or international corporate structures, as well as strong proficiency with business systems, is a plus.
- A forward-looking mindset with a strong drive to contribute to development.
About the process
This is a full-time, 6-month assignment starting in October, with a good chance of transitioning to a permanent position afterward. The position is based in Stockholm and follows a hybrid work policy. We are presenting candidates on an ongoing basis, and interviews with the client will take place shortly.
