Head of Technology & IT
Interim Search has been entrusted to appoint a Head of Technology & IT to an exciting and growing e-commerce company. This is a key role for those who thrive at the intersection of strategy and operational implementation. As the company's highest technology manager, you will have the opportunity to lead the continued digital development and create structure in a complex system environment. You will drive future initiatives in system modernization, integrations and AI, while ensuring stable and efficient IT operations in the business. Together with internal employees and external partners, you will have a central position in the company's continued growth journey.
Main duties:
- Lead and distribute the work of the internal IT team and manage daily internal IT support when needed.
- Leading, setting requirements and managing external IT partners who manage the further development of the e-commerce platform.
- Continuously ensure that integrations between ERP, e-commerce platform and warehouse management system (WMS) work automatically
- Plan and prepare the future strategic shift from the current ERP to a web-based solution, as well as evaluate the modernization or replacement of the e-commerce platform.
- Drive the company's technological innovation with a focus on further developing and implementing projects in AI for customer service and product information.
To be eligible for the role:
- 5-7 years of experience in similar management roles with a genuine technical interest.
- Proven experience of change journeys in growth companies, with a track record of building robust IT structures.
- Strong experience in running technical projects, keeping to schedules and having full visibility of costs and deliverables from external consultants.
- Extensive experience in complex system environments where logistics (WMS), finance (ERP), marketing and customer service are seamlessly synchronized.
- Good ability and habit of navigating in a mixed Google and Microsoft environment.
Meritorious:
- Experience in the e-commerce industry or trading company, where experience in a pure B2C market is highly advantageous.
- Sufficient technical understanding to be able to read and understand code (preferably a modern PHP-based environment with associated frameworks such as Laravel) to support the team in case of emergency.

About the process
The assignment is full time (100 %) with immediate start. The assignment is based in the Stockholm office with requirements for high presence on site, combined with travel to the company's other sites such as warehouses and customer service. The duration of the assignment is initially 12 months. The last day to apply is June 10 and interviews with the customer will take place in connection with that.
