Interim Group CFO
Interim Search has been tasked with appointing an Interim Group CFO for a company in central Sweden.
As Group CFO, you are responsible for the group's accounting, financial reporting and financial management. The role does not involve any direct personnel responsibility, but you will act as the functional head of accounting and support and coach finance departments in the business.
Working closely with the CEO, management and external parties, you will play a key role in ensuring the structure, quality and efficiency of the finance function.
Main duties:
- Responsibility for group accounting and consolidation.
- Ensuring accurate financial reporting.
- Quarterly and annual reporting and reporting to management.
- Development of financial processes, procedures and internal controls.
- Liquidity planning and financial monitoring.
- Contact with auditors and external advisors.
- Support and coaching to finance departments in the business.
- Participation in accounting and operational tasks as required.
- Contribution to corporate governance, compliance and financial decision support.
To be eligible for the role:
- Experience in a senior finance function (CFO, Finance Manager or similar).
- Has good knowledge in accounting and group reporting.
- Experience in a complex or regulated environment.
- Are confident, unpretentious and hands-on in your approach.
- Good analytical skills and a structured approach.
- Is a good communicator and used to supporting others in financial matters.
- Fluent in spoken and written Swedish and English.
About the process:
The role is part-time, approximately 50%. The assignment is estimated to start in mid-June.
