Interim IT Transformation Project Lead (Finance)
Interim Search has been tasked with recruiting an IT Transformation Project Lead (Finance) for an exciting Nordic group.
Main duties:
- Lead an ERP migration and serve as an internal project manager.
- Define requirements and serve as the liaison between the finance department and external implementation partners to ensure that technical solutions meet the business’s needs.
- Stakeholder Management and work closely with the Head of Accounting, billing managers, and other key personnel within the Nordic organization.
- Process optimization and ensuring that the system architecture supports and streamlines accounting processes, billing workflows, and financial reporting.
- Operational implementation and hands-on work on everything from data migration and system testing to establishing new procedures and reporting channels.
To be eligible for the role:
- Combined expertise: You have a background that includes both finance/accounting and IT/software projects.
- Project management experience: You have previously led or played a key role in IT projects, system replacements, or major migration projects.
- System Understanding: You have a strong interest in system support and understand the logic behind how data flows between different platforms (experience with NetSuite is a strong plus).
- You have a solid understanding of accounting and can apply a financial perspective to technical solutions.
- You are “hands-on” and ambitious, with the ability to work independently and take the initiative in a changing environment.
- You are skilled at translating complex IT issues into financial terms for various stakeholders within the company.
