Interim Chief Financial Officer
Interim Search has been commissioned to appoint an Interim CFO to a Swedish industrial company based in Halland County. You will report directly to the CEO and sit on the group's management team.
Main duties:
- Develop, implement, and follow up on the company's financial strategy in line with our business objectives.
- Manage budget and forecasting processes and be responsible for long-term financial planning.
- The company is facing change, and you will be responsible for a transformation together with the CEO.
- Ensure high quality in monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and deliver clear and accurate reporting to owners and the board.
- Ensure transparent and regular financial reporting in accordance with current regulations.
- Lead, coach, and develop the finance team and our CIO (six people in total) and coordinate collaboration with external outsourcing partners.
- Initiate and implement improvement projects in controlling, liquidity management, and cost efficiency.
- Responsible for risk management, internal control, and compliance.
- Be an active partner in strategic decisions, investments, and M&A processes.
- Build and maintain relationships with auditors, banks, lawyers, and other external stakeholders.
- Act as rapporteur to the board and contribute well-founded decision-making documentation.
To be eligible for the role:
- You have a relevant academic degree in economics, finance, or a similar field.
- You have 7–10 years of experience in qualified financial work, including several years in a management role.
- Experience of change management and working in international contexts.
- Strong analytical skills and a strategic mindset.
- Strong communication skills and accustomed to working closely with management and the board.
- Fluent in Swedish and English, both spoken and written.
- Experience in the manufacturing industry is an advantage.
- Proficiency in spoken and written German is an advantage.
- A good understanding of ERP systems is an advantage, and experience of Monitor G5 is particularly valuable.
