Interim Search has been entrusted with the task of appointing a senior accounting manager with experience of listed companies to work part-time, focusing on financial statements and reporting in a company in western Skåne.
Main duties:
For one week per month (the second week of the month), and slightly more during quarterly and annual closings, work on the following:
- Responsible for ensuring that financial statements and reporting are carried out correctly in accordance with applicable stock exchange rules for listed companies.
- Ensure that currencies, convertibles, options, and derivatives are handled correctly.
- Ensure that revenue recognition complies with the agreed delivery contracts with customers.
- Act as a sounding board for the CFO on accounting issues.
To be eligible for the role:
- Academic degree in economics.
- Senior accounting manager with at least 5-10 years of experience in financial statements and reporting.
- Experience with IFRS, consolidated financial statements, and consolidation.
- Be well-informed and knowledgeable about stock exchange and reporting rules.
- Experience of working in a publicly traded company.
About the process:
We will present candidates on Thursday, November 27, and interviews with the client company will take place on Friday, November 28. The assignment is expected to last for at least 12 months, with the possibility of extension. Start date in December.
