Interim Search has been entrusted with appointing an experienced and driven Interim Logistics Manager to a leading player in its industry, with operations in retail and e-commerce.

You will play a central role in the company, leading and planning the day-to-day work of logistics operations. Your task will be to ensure that the business achieves its set service level and cost targets, while also driving continuous improvement. You will report directly to the CEO and have full personnel and budget responsibility for the function, with five managers reporting directly to you.

Main responsibilities:

Ensure efficient goods flows from delivery to customer delivery, optimize transport solutions, and negotiate agreements with suppliers.
Responsible for budget, cost monitoring, and initiating efficiency projects
Lead, coach, and develop managers and employees within the logistics function. Create an inclusive culture and ensure a good working environment.
Responsible for implementing and improving system support and automation solutions. Ensuring that all processes comply with applicable laws, regulations, and policies.
Ensure optimal staffing, follow up on key figures, and implement measures in case of deviations. Handle invoice administration and review purchasing agreements.

To be eligible for the role:

We are looking for a committed and hands-on leader with at least 10 years of experience in logistics management, preferably in retail, wholesale, or e-commerce. You have documented experience of managing staff and handling budgetary responsibilities.
Very good knowledge of laws and agreements relating to labor law and the working environment.
A businesslike and communicative approach.
Experience of goal management and follow-up.
Good knowledge of logistics systems, inventory management, and transport planning.
Relevant college/universityuniversity education (e.g., Civil Engineering or Civil Economics).

About the process:
