Interim Senior Quality Specialist

Main duties:

• Ensuring product compliance with REACH, the Product Safety Regulation and the Fiber Labeling Regulation in all markets where the customer operates.
• Strategic and operational management of chemicals and product content, including driving improvement projects for phasing out unwanted substances, which is central to the company.
• Responsibility for complaint handling, which means following up, analyzing and evaluating complaints and handling any recalls according to regulations.
• Responsible for initiatives that directly lead to quality improvement projects to continuously raise standards in the business.
• Responsible for ensuring that all third party quality controls (QC) are performed according to current company standards.
• Close cooperation with suppliers, international production offices and internal teams required to ensure quality requirements are met.
• Actively take initiatives to improve and develop material and production processes to achieve higher quality and sustainability at all stages.
• Actively support the product development team with knowledge of textile qualities, production and chemical content.
• Ensuring child safety and product safety for various product categories, including clothing, footwear, cosmetics and other relevant areas.

To be eligible for the role:

• You are an engineer or equivalent.
• Many years of experience in quality work in textile, fashion or similar industries.
• Merit: Textile engineering degree or equivalent.
• Thorough knowledge of the REACH Regulation and chemicals legislation.
• Understanding of textile materials, production and quality standards.
• Experience in complaint handling, risk assessments and product recalls.
• Experience in working with third party quality controls (QC inspections).
• Experience in running quality improvement projects and a business approach to process optimization.
• Advantage: Knowledge of child safety and other product categories (footwear, cosmetics, etc.).
• Experience of travel to production countries.
• Fluency in Swedish and English, both spoken and written.

About the process:

The assignment is full-time and is expected to last 12 months, starting on August 11, 2025.

We will present candidates on April 16th and customer interviews will be conducted in connection with the presentation.
