Interim Business Area Manager

We are looking for you with a commercial business drive who has a passion for assortment & purchasing and has solid experience of groceries / products in the FMCG category. You work operationally and strategically and will be part of an upcoming change journey.

Main tasks:

• You ensure profitability and sales in all categories within the business area.
• You develop attractive and competitive ranges together with the category managers.
• You are responsible for optimizing product placement for maximum profitability.
• You are involved in campaign planning within the Nordics.
• You drive the change journey in the business area.
• You have staff responsibility over a team of 10 category managers and junior category managers.

To be eligible for the role:

• You have solid experience in purchasing, category work and supplier negotiation.
• You have experience in the retail sector.
• You have experience in negotiating in international cooperation and supplier relations.
• You are a confident, down-to-earth and coaching leader who gets your people on board.
• You are an experienced leader with business drive and an understanding of profitability and flow of goods.
• You create commitment and job satisfaction and have good teamwork skills.
• You have experience with billion-dollar companies.
• You are on site 3 days/week.

About the process:

The assignment is expected to last at least 6 months starting mid-January, we will present candidates to the client in the near future and interviews with customers will take place in connection with it.
