Interim Search has been entrusted with the appointment of an interim Unit Manager for the property management of a public organization located in Gävleborg County.
Main duties:
- Managing, coordinating and monitoring day-to-day operational activities.
- Operational, performance, budgetary and human resources responsibilities.
- Develop the unit's activities so that they are carried out safely, efficiently and with the right quality.
- Collaborate with other heads of unit in the real estate department and the planning and projects department.
- Leading and supporting staff in the various specialist areas.
- Responsibility for actively working on the day-to-day activities of the unit and working on resource planning.
- Drive development within the unit's mission and lead the work of developing strategies for the development of the company's real estate portfolio.
- Responsibility for actively working on the unit's day-to-day operations, objectives, follow-up, quality, development and efficiency.
- Responsibility for the unit's compliance with the company's quality and environmental systems and to contribute to the development of systems used by the unit.
To be eligible for the role:
- Minimum 3-year academic degree (180 p) in real estate economics or in relevant engineering area.
- Broad and in-depth theoretical and practical knowledge in the areas covering the unit's fields of work such as law, economics, construction engineering, procurement, negotiation techniques.
- Very good analytical skills and can translate analysis into strategies and decisions.
- Good knowledge of IT and an aptitude and interest in administrative work.
- Experience in personnel management with a supervisory position.
- Ability to lead and follow up.
- Ability to decide and take initiative.
- Ability to take a holistic view of the unit's operations, finances and quality.
- Ability to communicate successfully.
About the process:
The assignment is part-time (60%) with an estimated start at the end of February 2025.
The consultant is expected to be on site but there is room for a flexible solution in consultation with the client. The duration of the assignment is approximately 9-12 months.
