Interim Financial Controller

Main duties:

• As Financial Controller, you will be at the heart of the business, working closely with management teams to drive performance improvements and promote a culture of continuous improvement.
• You will dive deep into monthly actuals, providing insightful analysis to drive decision-making.
• You will ensure fast and accurate month-end closings, maintaining the highest quality standards.
• You are expected to proactively support alignment and strategic actions through a robust forecasting process.
• You will actively participate in management teams, translate financial analyses into actionable insights, and thereby challenge/support the organization.
• You are expected to proactively dive into complex problems with your curiosity and agility and deliver insights on time to support strategic initiatives.

To be eligible for the role:

• Master of Business Administration or similar
• At least 2-5 years of experience in finance or business controlling, with preference for experience in production controlling.
• You have extensive knowledge and understanding of the connection between operational efficiency and financial outcomes and results.
• You have a habit of interpreting key indicators to drive financial decisions and optimize business performance.
• You have solid experience with Excel and other IT skills, including Microsoft Office, SAP, Power BI/QlikSense, and other BI tools.
• You are used to making decisions and driving progress independently, with confidence and conviction.
• You have a structured approach to work, planning and prioritizing effectively to meet the organization's goals.
• To fit into the team, you are optimistic, curious, and adaptable.
• You are never truly satisfied, but constantly strive for continuous improvement and drive operational excellence at every opportunity.
• You have a good knowledge of financial reporting processes and systems, which is an advantage.
• Fluent in English, both spoken and written.
• It is highly advantageous if you have driven the implementation of BI solutions for improved financial analysis and reporting.

About the process:

The assignment is expected to start in early November and last for 18 months, with a scope of 100%. We will present candidates on an ongoing basis, and interviews with the client company will take place in conjunction with this.
