Interim Seach has been entrusted with the appointment of an interim Department Manager for a company in the energy industry. The department is new and will initially consist of 7-10 employees who are drawn from other departments.
The new department to be established will bring together tasks previously spread across several other departments. In addition to creating and running a new department, a large part of the assignment will focus on implementing new ways of working, initiated through three business development projects. The role has a high priority within the management team.
Main responsibilities:
- Establish and manage a brand new department with multi-site operations
- Implement new ways of working delivered from the development projects
- Managing and distributing tasks between different locations
- Create cohesion and clarity within the department
- Introduce standardized ways of working
- Define and clarify the department's responsibilities
Qualifications:
To be considered for this role you need to have:
- More than 10 years of experience as a leader
- A comprehensive understanding of electricity generation and the electricity grid
- Experience in leading cross-functional teams
- Relevant college or university education
The position reports to the Business Area Manager for Electricity Networks.
