Interim Senior Controller

In the role of controller, you will work closely with the business with independent responsibility for the control of the organization's rents and a number of staffs. You work operationally in the financial processes, with the implementation of the organization's financial management model for the various activities, provide strategic support to management teams and lead and drive development initiatives required for planning and monitoring staff activities. You will have many interfaces within the organization, both within your own staff and with the business. To succeed in the role of controller, you will need to be driven and have the ability to take initiative, initiate activities that produce results and deliver these on time.

Main duties:

• Continuous monitoring of financial outcomes and forecasting of the organization's rents, as well as compiling and reporting analyses to managers and management teams.
• Deliver in finance staff processes, e.g. financial statements, forecast.
• Ensure a well-functioning planning process, including relevant key figures for activities both from an operational perspective and for the other controllers of the activities.
• Initiate and run projects to continue to ensure the implementation of the organization's financial management model for staff activities.
• Proactive improvement work in areas where non-conformities or improvement potentials are identified.
• Based on the needs of the business and other controllers, build reports and visualize key figures using Tableau.

To be eligible for the role:

• University degree or higher education of at least 180 HP in economics or other education deemed equivalent by the client, e.g. industrial economics.
• At least five years of experience in qualified controller work.
• Comfortable operating at the intersection of finance and business/operations.
• Fluent Swedish, both spoken and written.
• Very good knowledge of Excel and other MS Office tools.
• Experience in analyzing and drawing conclusions about financial information together with information about the business.
• Experience communicating and giving presentations to non-economists.
• Experience in running and working in improvement projects.

About the process:
