Interim Head of Office

Interim search has been entrusted with the appointment of an Interim Office Manager for a public (municipal) organization in Stockholm County.

Tasks and Responsibilities:

• Responsible for the overall management of the Office, including staff responsibilities, budget management and strategic planning.
• Ensure that the Office's objectives are met according to established guidelines and timeframes.
• Monitor and manage civil engineering projects, from planning to implementation and completion.
• Ensure that projects are implemented according to budget, schedule and quality standards.
• Promote a positive and inclusive work environment by being a leading and inspiring role model.
• Building and maintaining relationships with customers, suppliers and other stakeholders.
• Responsible for financial planning and reporting, including budgeting and monitoring financial performance.
• Ensure cost-effectiveness and efficient use of resources within the Office and identify and implement cost-effective measures and improvements.

Qualifications:

• Relevant university degree in civil engineering, civil engineer or equivalent.
• At least 5 years of experience in a management role in the built environment sector.
• Proven experience in project management and financial management.
• 3-5 years of experience in the public sector and municipal operations.
• Good ability to work independently and take initiative.
• Experience in working with and leading multi-faceted teams.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Flexible and adaptable to changing circumstances.
• Good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written.

About the process:

The assignment is full-time starting 1/8 and is expected to last for 3 months with good opportunities for an extension of 3 months.
