Interim Sales Director for Sweden and Norway
Interim Search has been tasked with appointing an interim Sales Director for Sweden and Norway at a large manufacturing company with annual revenue of approximately 2 billion SEK.
Key responsibilities:;
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve revenue targets and
market share goals - Build and lead a high-performing sales team, providing guidance, coaching, and
mentorship - Responsible for fostering a results-driven sales culture that inspires innovation and
motivation within the sales team - Set targets and goals for the sales team and monitor progress toward achieving them
them - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align sales objectives with overall business objectives
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand the company's presence
- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key clients, partners, and stakeholders
- Develop and maintain a sales pipeline and forecasting system to ensure that the
the team is consistently meeting its targets and that future sales are forecast accurately - Prepare and present monthly MOR reports on sales performance, market trends, and key metrics to the executive team
- Prepare and present quarterly QBR reports
- Prepare and present KAM plans
- Ensure that relevant KPIs are analyzed and monitored. Use data and analytics to
make informed business decisions and drive continuous improvement
Qualifications;
- Proven experience in sales leadership roles (approximately 10 years) in the manufacturing industry and B2B sales
- Strong understanding of sales strategies and techniques
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Demonstrated ability to develop and implement successful sales strategies
- Results-oriented with a proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets
- Experience managing and developing high-performing teams
- Strong problem-solving skills, ability to think creatively, and ability to adapt to change
- Ability to lead and manage the transformation of the sales team, in terms of its structure, processes, and the skills and capabilities of its members
- Proven experience using Salesforce to manage sales activities, leads, and
customer interactions - Fluent in both written and spoken English and Swedish
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Administration or a related field
About the process;
The assignment covers 100%, begins immediately, and is expected to last approximately 6 months.
Candidates will be presented to the client on June 18, and interviews with the client company will take place on June 19.
