Interim Search has been commissioned to appoint an Interim Communications Manager for a municipal company in Stockholm County.
Main duties:
- Plan, implement and follow up on communication missions and activities.
- Actively contributing to the development of communication activities and providing support on press and media issues as required.
- The role includes working with the office management on strategic as well as operational communication issues (delivery focused).
- Easy to cooperate and build good relationships.
- The consultant should thrive on diverse assignments and work operationally as well as strategically.
To stay up to date:
- Relevant university degree in communication or journalism, or equivalent work experience in communication activities in the infrastructure or public works sector.
- At least three (3) years of experience in a similar role.
- Experience working in a politically governed public sector organization.
- Experience in civil engineering and infrastructure.
- Experience in managing officials.
- Experience in leading people through change.
- As a person, the consultant should be a clear leader who can easily create security for their employees, lead towards common goals and have a good ability to get their unit managers and employees on board. Hence the importance of being responsive and having very good communication skills.
About the process:
