Interim Vice President / Business Area Manager

We are looking for an experienced change manager with experience in business mergers, acquisitions, and turnaround processes. To succeed in this role, you should have a background and experience in heavy industry, production processes, piece manufacturing, project management, and documented successful leadership.

Main duties:

• Manage and develop existing business
• Review of organizational, management, and decision-making structures
• Evaluate and strengthen leadership levels
• Driving cultural and behavioral change
• Control and follow-up of financial results
• Ensure cost awareness at all levels
• Streamline and drive long-term profitable project operations

To be eligible for the role:

• Relevant academic degree in engineering or economics
• Several years of management experience (leading through other managers) as CEO/Division/Business Area Manager with full P&L responsibility
• Background in contracting, construction, infrastructure, or other types of project work where the focus is on the work environment and safety issues
• Management experience in managing, leading, and driving technical project activities
• Management experience in driving change initiatives/turnarounds
• Management experience in conducting negotiations on contractual issues and liaising with major customers
• High level of business acumen with the ability to manage, be clear, and at the same time build good relationships with operational activities
• Confident and trustworthy, with clear authority and decision-making ability
