For a very expansive company in Gästrikland, we are immediately looking for a business-oriented COO with experience of building companies through strong organic growth, but also through a number of strategic acquisitions. The company currently has a turnover of approximately SEK 620 million and has 210 employees. The current consultant in the assignment will be the CEO's right hand to jointly lead a structural change through an expanded and more present leadership, implementation of new system support, project management and participation in acquisitions and M&A processes.
Main duties:
- Together with the CEO, set up the structure and focus areas for the company in 2024.
- Lead and structure together with the CEO to achieve overall goals and stability.
- Drive the development of common processes and procedures.
- Lead internal development projects and act as a sounding board for the CEO on organizational issues as well as lead parts of the direct reporting team.
- Participate in the start-up of the project management regarding the implementation of new CRM & system support in 2024.
- Define growth-inhibiting challenges/organizational barriers - and establish tactical & strategic actions accordingly.
We are looking for someone who has:
- Many years of experience in senior management positions such as CEO, COO or Division Manager, and experience reporting to the Board/Management.
- Experience in human resources management and structural challenges in fast growing companies.
- Experienced project manager and proven strong implementer of acquisitions or M&A processes.
- Strategic profile but not afraid of details or tactical interventions and can be “hand on”.
- An unpretentious leadership style and very stable personality, able to take decisions with great calm and thoughtfulness.
- Ability to drive own processes and take sometimes uncomfortable decisions, as well as smoothly seek information and navigate the organization.
- Ability to quickly familiarize yourself with the mission and define “interfaces & “stakeholders”
- Academic background such as Master of Engineering or Master of Business Administration.
About the process:
The assignment will tentatively start on November 20, will be full-time and is expected to last at least 8 months. Presentation of candidates will take place on November 10 and interviews with the client company will tentatively take place on November 14.
