Interim Chief Operating Officer
Interim Search has been commissioned to recruit a down-to-earth Interim COO with financial expertise for an exciting international foundation.
In the role of interim COO, you will have overall responsibility for the organization’s IT, HR, and finance functions in an environment characterized by entrepreneurship. The office is located in Stockholm, and you will have the flexibility to work from your place of residence.
Main duties:
- Continue working with the CEO to establish the institution among international development institutions.
- Be responsible for signing invoices and submitting time reports.
- Contribute to the development of the department's strategic goals and the organization's overall management.
- Responsible for the outsourced HR, IT, and Finance functions.
- Attend two board meetings per year, one of which is held abroad.
- Submit a quarterly financial summary to the board of directors.
- Responsible for preparing the agenda, reports, etc., for the quarterly meeting with donors.
Who we are looking for:
- A thorough understanding of finance, systems, and HR.
- Extensive experience in business functions and systems, strategic development and planning, budgeting, business analysis, finance, information systems, human resources, and marketing; experience in grant management is a plus; experience in nonprofit activities is a plus.
- You have experience managing a finance department.
- Understanding of cash flow; experience working at a nonprofit foundation is preferred.
- Experience in contract law.
- MBA or equivalent
- The Group's working language is English; international experience is a plus.
About the process:
The assignment will begin immediately, but no later than December 1, and is expected to last through the summer of 2019, with the possibility of an extension.
We are presenting candidates on an ongoing basis, and interviews will be held at the client company on Tuesday, October 23.
