Interim Accounting Manager
Interim Search has been commissioned by a well-known media company to appoint an interim Accounting Manager. The company has a turnover of 2.1 billion, is part of a larger group and is undergoing a phase of change where you will play a significant role.
During parental leave, the company needs an interim Accounting Manager who can manage and drive development forward. The organization is undergoing change and to thrive in the assignment, you should be stimulated by creating structure in a dynamic work environment.
Duties in the role of Interim Accounting Manager:
- Staff responsibility for three employees.
- Responsibility for the development of the department for optimal operation and efficiency.
- Responsibility for financial follow-up to headquarters.
- Cooperate with the Shared Service Center located in Pakistan.
- Responsibility for financial reporting internally and externally, including year-end closing, tax returns and tax reporting.
- Work management in tax, accounting and IFRS.
- Follow-up of financial statements, controller and billing function.
- Assisting other departments with economic analysis work.
- Report deviations from set targets.
Who we are looking for
- You have several years of experience working in a similar role, preferably with experience in subscription business and media.
- Experience in project management of financial projects.
- It is an advantage if you have experience working with a foreign Shared Service Center.
- You have an academic degree in economics or equivalent work experience.
About the process
We will present candidates to the client company on Monday 5/2. Interviews will take place at the client on Tuesday 6/2 between 09:00-12:00. The assignment will start as early as possible in February and last until mid-September 2018. The assignment may be extended.
