Interim CEO
Interim Search has been commissioned to recruit a CEO for Modexa’s kitchen division, whose business concept is to renovate existing kitchens with custom-fit components. The company’s headquarters are in Borås, and it handles its own manufacturing and distribution from Västerås. The company has annual revenue of approximately 170 MSEK.
Modexa is undergoing a period of transformation focused on growth, with profitable growth of approximately 30 % per year. With high cost efficiency, Modexa is transforming an old kitchen into a modern workplace. As the current CEO takes on the role of Group CEO, the new CEO of the kitchen division will be responsible for implementing the strategy and driving growth, conceptualization, and improvements. Part of the assignment involves developing a method for closer collaboration with established craft businesses and contractors—a type of service management system.
To be considered for this position, you should meet the following criteria:
- Strong commitment to the community; the focus of the offering is on the customers’ customers—the tenants.
- A good leader with a clear, pragmatic leadership style that resonates with employees, customers, and suppliers
- Experience leading rapid change initiatives while maintaining or improving quality
- Experienced in working with many subcontractors of varying sizes
- Practical and down-to-earth
- Organized and driven
You should have experience from some type of nationwide service organization, preferably with elements of manufacturing, warehousing, or logistics. You have held general management roles for at least 10 years and may have served as CEO of a smaller company or as a business unit manager in a medium-sized or larger company. Alternatively, you have successfully led several transformation initiatives in the role of interim CEO at companies of comparable size or larger. A relevant academic degree is required.
