Interim Chief Financial Officer
Interim Search has been commissioned to fill the position of interim Chief Financial Officer at a manufacturing company with a few hundred employees. The company is part of a larger group and is located in Bengtsfors in western Götaland. The assignment is well-suited for weekly commuting, as housing is available in the area.
As Interim Chief Financial Officer, you will be responsible for the finance function, including financial statements, budgets, forecasts, and reporting. You will lead and coordinate an experienced team of four people and serve on the management team. IFS is used as the financial management system, and HFM is used for consolidated reporting.
As Interim Accounting Manager, you will be responsible for:
- Personnel responsibility for four employees
- Monthly financial statements
- Group reporting
- Monthly and Quarterly Forecasts
- Investment Follow-ups
- Reconciliation of Interim Accounts
- Involved in the work of the management team
- Contact with auditors
- Ensuring that work procedures are followed (e.g., authorization procedures, credit procedures, etc.)
- Monthly communication with the parent company, including an analysis of results
To be eligible for the assignment:
- Experience working as a finance manager or accounting manager in a medium-sized company
- Fluency in spoken and written English, the Group’s official language
- Strong analytical skills
- Experience with consolidated reporting is a plus
- Experience in a manufacturing company or the process industry is a plus
Our process:
We will present candidates by the morning of December 13, and interviews will be held at the client’s office on December 15. This is a full-time position with a preferred start date of December 18, and the assignment is expected to last through the summer. Housing is available near the workplace.
