Interim Head of Global IT Infrastructure, Stockholm
Interim Search has been tasked with recruiting an interim Head of Global IT for an international company. The position is based in Stockholm, and you will work in various countries throughout Europe.
The position of Interim Head of Global IT Infrastructure is responsible for making IT a key digital asset for business development, new business models, and corporate efficiency. The role includes responsibility for planning current and future IT infrastructure needs and delivering 24/7/365 IT infrastructure services. Collaborate with multiple teams across the enterprise to ensure corporate success. Reports to the Group CIO and is a member of the global IT management team.
Responsibilities
- Provide leadership, direction, and oversight of the technical
team to ensure the delivery of IT infrastructure services. - Engineers, leads, and maintains all aspects of the infrastructure
technology and physical IT security. - Provides proactive, business-focused infrastructure services that
enable rapid business growth, M&A, and smooth business operations
surgeries. - Oversees the technical team in collaboration with the vendor and others
support teams to resolve issues. - Leads the development and maintenance of the IT infrastructure
plan. - Monitors projects, priorities, standards, procedures, and overall IT
infrastructure performance.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Good process knowledge (ITIL, Incident/Change Management,
change request, etc.). - At least seven years of professional experience in IT
infrastructure, IT support, business-critical IT delivery, or other
relevant field. - Extensive experience in designing and implementing infrastructure
solutions. - Experience in establishing and operating service desk operations with
clear and ambitious SLAs/KPIs. - Extensive experience with outsourced IT services, vendors, and
Partner Management. - Ability to execute and collaborate in a truly global matrix
organization 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year. - Good knowledge of capacity services, cloud distribution, and
fundamental IT security. - Experience in the manufacturing industry and logistics, along with
Good knowledge of market-leading ERP systems (Microsoft
(Knowledge of Dynamics AX is a plus).
