Interim Search has been commissioned by the Runsvengruppen (ÖoB) to appoint an interim Category Manager. Your assignment will be to develop an even more attractive product range for customers and work towards the company's business goals. The workplace is the Runsvengruppen service office in Skänninge three days a week and the rest from your place of residence. The role reports to the Business Area Manager.

This exciting assignment as interim Category Manager includes:
- Analyzing different purchasing behaviors and how to attract, engage, and motivate customers to shop at ÖoB.
- Developing an attractive range for ÖoB's customers that generates the best profitability.
- Working with sales management and creating commercial sales solutions, from concept to implementation
- Category management, supplier negotiations, and creating conditions for optimal handling of product ranges in stores.
- Strategic product range development and continuous improvement of existing product range.
- Campaign planning for your products and monitoring of market developments.
To be eligible for the assignment:
- You have many years of experience in sales management in the retail sector in a central position.
- You have recently worked as a category manager and are strongly results- and business-oriented.
- You have a keen interest and sense of what is commercially viable.
- You understand effective goods flow.
- As a person, you are structured, analytical, driven, flexible, and unpretentious.
- Preferably education in Economics/Purchasing and/or Marketing.
- The Special business area includes areas such as kitchens, home furnishings, cleaning, electrical appliances & leisure, and seasonal products.
- Experience in areas such as painting, tools, electrical and petrol-powered tools, cars and boats, nails and screws, etc. is an advantage.
- The position involves some travel and reports to the Business Area Manager for Special Products.
We will be presenting candidates on an ongoing basis. The assignment will start as soon as possible, but no later than April, and is expected to last for five months. Interviews will be held on Thursday, March 23, in Skänninge and Friday, March 24, in Stockholm.
