Interim Compliance Officer

To be eligible for the assignment, you must have a law degree and at least five years of relevant experience from a bank, government agency, or industry association. The assignment is for five months. The main duties are:

• Provide advice and support on current regulatory issues
• Participate in various projects relating to new regulations, e.g., implementation of the Mortgage Credit Directive and issues raised by the Swedish Financial Supervisory Authority.
• Perform audits and spot checks in accordance with the existing activity plan
• Prepare and present quarterly reports
• Participate in Risk Committee meetings
• Participate in the bank's process for approving new products

You are expected to have good verbal and written communication skills in both Swedish and English. Knowledge of the regulatory areas that FI is responsible for monitoring (e.g., FFFS 2014:1 on internal governance and control) and rules that affect the lending and payment area, such as personal data management, is important. To thrive in this role, you need to be meticulous, self-motivated and enjoy working both independently and with colleagues inside and outside the group.
