Interim Head of Department

As department manager, your main tasks will be to lead, develop, analyze, and optimize warehouse operations. You will be responsible for ensuring that the department has the structure and planning in place to deliver on time and cost-effectively, as well as ensuring that service targets are met on a daily basis.

Main duties and responsibilities:

• Responsible for ensuring the strategic, tactical, and operational management of warehouse and automation flows.
• Represents production in various follow-up meetings to improve quality internally and for end customers.
• Supports and represents production in various analyses and calculations.
• Responsible for planning, developing, and establishing the annual staffing plan.
• Actively participates and convenes crisis management meetings or if major deviations occur in production.
• You are responsible for the budget and personnel of your department, which comprises approximately 25 people.
• You will report directly to the Warehouse Manager and will also be part of the Warehouse Management Team.

What does the role require?

• University education with a focus on logistics/supply chain or similar post-secondary education in a relevant field.
• At least 5 years of experience in a leadership position within warehousing, logistics, and production control.
• ability to organize, prioritize, and plan for the short and long term.
• You are a courageous and confident leader who is present.
• Having strong analytical skills and a solution-focused approach is extremely important.
• good cooperation to achieve the best results.
• Experience in e-commerce in the grocery industry, production, or logistics.
• Knowledge of relevant labor law, collective agreements, and union relations.
• Good knowledge of spoken and written Swedish and English.
• Advanced knowledge of Excel.

About the process: 

The assignment is expected to last at least three months, with an immediate start date. We will present candidates on an ongoing basis, and interviews with the client company will take place on an ongoing basis.
