Interim Purchasing Manager
Interim Search has been commissioned to recruit an interim Purchasing Manager for a global FMCG company. The role involves overseeing the company’s purchasing operations in Sweden, Denmark, Norway, and Finland. The headquarters is located in central Stockholm, and you will report to the COO of the Nordic operations.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Evaluate current procurement methods and processes in the Nordic region
- Identify how the goals and results of the procurement function are measured and can be challenged
- Analyze current suppliers and the ”spend mix” across all Nordic operations
- Assess customer satisfaction among external and internal customers
- Identify areas for potential cost savings in the Nordic region and define ways to optimize the entire procurement process
- Benchmark the Nordic procurement operations against relevant companies in the FMCG sector and provide examples of best practices
To be considered for this position, you should have substantial, recent experience in a similar role. Experience in the FMCG sector and as a management consultant is a plus. Fluency in English and Swedish is required.
This is a full-time assignment with a flexible start date in September 2016, and is expected to last two months, with the possibility of an extension.
