Interim Controller

After Marcus completed his academic studies, his first job was as a financial controller at a major bank. He then spent a few years in London before returning to Stockholm and joining a food company, where he quickly advanced to sales controller with responsibility for a division. His career gained further momentum when he was given the opportunity to act as interim CFO at a hardware company, a role that contributed to his understanding of the big picture. For a period, he was head of accounts payable with responsibility for seven employees, and he has recently been finance manager for a well-known international recruitment company. There, he was also responsible for accounting, reporting, financial management, HR, purchasing, and IT. Marcus recently completed a long-term assignment with one of our clients, where he was a valued senior controller who worked closely with the sales and marketing departments.

Marcus is particularly well suited for two types of roles: one is as a senior interim business controller, preferably in an FMCG company that needs a consultant with a clear commercial mindset. The other is as an interim finance manager with limited personnel responsibility. Regardless of which role he fills, his personality is best suited to sales-oriented companies.
