Veronica worked as an auditor for a few years. She then moved on to become a controller at a transport company, before becoming a financial controller and later advancing to accounting manager for a private equity-owned property services company. In the latter role, she was responsible for eight employees, led the closing process, prepared annual reports, handled tax issues, and was responsible for owner reporting and streamlining processes and procedures.
Veronica is now looking for her third interim assignment as a consultant, where she will be responsible for an accounting function, preferably with greater personnel responsibility. She is best suited to roles where she can work on improving the quality of accounting and raising the competence of her colleagues in order to achieve lasting results. The latter is a goal she brings with her when she starts a new assignment and one that motivates her as a person.
