Interim Chief Financial Officer

Simon is an international candidate who came to Sweden in the late 1990s after being offered a position as finance manager at a Swedish automotive manufacturer, reporting directly to the group’s CFO. By then, he had already established a career in finance in the U.S. and the U.K., working at a major accounting firm, as a controller at a fast-growing technology company that supplied the automotive industry, and as a project manager in the finance department of an international engineering firm, where he was tasked with improving their invoice processing. In Sweden, his career gained further momentum, and he soon became responsible for evaluating new production lines from a financial perspective. That role is comparable to that of a senior business controller, reporting directly to the group’s CFO. He was headhunted by an international component manufacturer, where, over the course of five years, he grew his business unit from 3 BSEK to 7 BSEK. He then sought to take overall responsibility for the finance function and was given that opportunity in 2011 as Group CFO for an international industrial company with operations in 35 countries. He has now decided to take the next step and embark on a new career as an Interim Manager.
