Interim Chief Financial Officer

Ylva studied economics with a focus on marketing and had ambitions to work in advertising, but stumbled into the accounting profession when she had children and wanted to work from home more. She quickly gained several clients for whom she did the bookkeeping, and after a couple of years she was asked to take on her first interim assignment as accounting manager for an airline. Now, more than ten years later, she has gained a wealth of experience as an interim consultant. She has been consistently hired in the role of finance manager/CFO, mainly by small and medium-sized companies looking for a hands-on leader of small teams. A year ago, she started her own accounting firm again, this time together with her son. He now runs the firm independently, and she is returning to a line role.

Consolidated accounting is one of Ylva's absolute strengths, something she has worked with consistently for over ten years. She can also handle everything from budgeting and forecasting, ongoing accounting, reporting, financial statements, payroll, and related tasks. She is most motivated when there are staff to manage, but she is open and completely unpretentious about handling much of the operational financial administration herself.
