Annica has worked as a controller and finance manager in a variety of industries during her eight-year career after graduating from university. After her first job as a controller at a software company, she was headhunted by an international IT supplier that lacked a finance function for its Swedish operations. The challenge included everything from start to finish: ongoing accounting, tax returns, monthly reporting, monthly financial statements, annual financial statements, procuring and implementing systems, budget and forecasting work, recruitment, and training. When the finance function was in place after ten months, she moved to a larger company and worked as a business controller before deciding to become an interim consultant. She has now completed four assignments, all as a business controller, for clients in the energy, real estate, insurance, and education sectors.
If your organization needs an interim controller who is happy to tackle old problems and bring energy and enthusiasm to the workplace, Annica could be an interesting resource. Assignments as an accounting or finance manager may also be relevant.
