Interim Controller

Robert spent his first ten years working as a project manager between the IT and finance departments. He has since maintained his combination of expertise in IT/systems and finance. His positions have included SAP specialist and IT coordinator for a large technology company, project manager and controller for a world-leading telecommunications company, controller and IT coordinator for an American manufacturing company, and finance manager for a logistics company. He is now completing an assignment as interim Controller at our client in the industrial sector. He works primarily in financial systems: SAP (FiCO), ORACLE, Movex, JD Edwards, AX, SPCS administration, SAP Bonus module, SALA, Nessias, ExDOC, Shipnet. Administrative systems: Office XP, PageMaker, QuarkXpress, Smartsuite. Databases: DB2, Excel 2000, SPSS 8.0, Access, FileMaker Pro, MS Project, as well as several systems within intranets, ASP, and web development.

Our client hired Robert to handle inadequate invoicing procedures and to train staff in connection with a system change. He assisted operations and contract managers in preparing invoicing documentation, thereby ensuring accurate and complete customer invoicing. He was also responsible for analyzing and checking that the allocation of costs between the respective contract operations was correct.
